“THEIR CONTINUED INFLUENCES ON MY LIFE”
1st In my life I have learned, that there is nothing stronger than a sibling bond, if the correct seeds are placed in children’s lives. I constantly reiterated to my own children, how a sibling bond can help build character, and can support you through the good and bad…
2nd Family bonding is important, you should be able to rely on them, however if you are fortunate enough to have great people in your life, regardless of a blood relation it’s okay to rely on what I call an extended family. (In some instances
3rd Be Strong, Be Tough, Be Fair, Be Honest, Be Loyal, Do Not Compromise Your Integrity and most importantly, when someone shows you who they are, BELIEVE THEM!!! Thomas Family Tree
I couldn't agree with you more. I tell my daughter all time with her living stateside that family is always there to support you, when no one else will. If you are lucky you may have a friend or two who is like family and you will be able to count on them. Stationed overseas I have an extended family that I use for a support system.
ReplyDeleteI look at it like this Family will be their when nobody else will. If it wouldn't for my aunt I will not have anybody to have my back. My brother have my back to if I didnt have him to fix things in my house I will be paying alot out. The lord is good that we have people in our life like that.
ReplyDeleteFamily is so important for so many of us! BUT I LOVE how you did each letter of their name and came up with something about each person! You listed many generations of family and how your great-grandmother wasn't able to meet your children. I feel so blessed that my children know all 4 of their grandparents well. In this day in age, it can be so hard to keep that bond alive and active.
ReplyDeleteI love your creativity!! AWESOME!!:) It is a blessing that you have been surrounded by strong women who have contributed to your life’s successes. Maya Angelou once said, “Strong women- precious jewels all- their humanness is evident in their accessibility. We are able to enter into the spirit of these women and rejoice in their warmth and courage.”
